SweldoSense — Privacy Policy
1. Information Processing & Core Architecture
SweldoSense operates as a client-side utility application. We respect your data privacy and maintain a strict data minimization policy.
Salary & Budget Calculator Inputs
All information, financial figures, or employment variables entered into our interactive computation tools are processed locally within your browser in real-time. We do not collect, save, transmit, or retain any financial inputs or calculation outputs on our servers. Once you close or refresh your browser tab, all transient input data is permanently discarded.
2. Server & Hosting Logs
Like most websites, our hosting infrastructure may record standard server logs when you request pages. This can include your IP address, browser type, requested URL, and timestamp. We use this information only to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the service.
SweldoSense may use Google Tag Manager (GTM) to load Google Analytics or similar measurement tools when a container ID is configured on our servers. GTM is disabled by default in local development. When enabled, GTM loads only after you accept optional cookies via our consent banner. GTM may set cookies or collect usage data such as pages viewed, device type, and approximate location. You can opt out of Google Analytics across sites using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
3. Local Storage & Site Preferences
SweldoSense stores your light/dark theme choice in your browser's localStorage so the site remembers your preference on return visits. This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to our servers.
We also store your cookie consent choice (granted or denied) in localStorage so the consent banner does not reappear on every visit. You can change your choice anytime via the Cookie settings link in the site footer.
When you accept optional cookies and Google Tag Manager is enabled, analytics cookies may be set by Google according to your GTM container configuration. AdSense and other advertising cookies load only after consent and when we publish a valid ads.txt entry and enable ad units on the site.
4. Advertising (Google AdSense)
We may display Google AdSense advertisements to help support the free calculator. AdSense is not active on the site until we are approved and configure ad units. When enabled, Google and its partners may use cookies to serve and measure ads, including ads based on prior visits to this site or other sites. Ad and analytics scripts do not load until you accept optional cookies through our consent banner.
Opt-Out: You can manage personalized advertising preferences at any time via the Google Ads Settings Portal, reject non-essential cookies in our banner, or block cookies in your browser.
When AdSense is enabled, we will publish a valid ads.txt file and update this policy with our publisher details.
5. Cookie Consent & Google Consent Mode
SweldoSense uses a cookie consent banner and Google Consent Mode v2. Non-essential cookies and tags (analytics, advertising) are blocked by default until you choose Accept all. Choosing Reject non-essential keeps optional cookies disabled. Essential site functionality and your theme preference work without accepting optional cookies.
Our consent implementation follows Google's requirements for AdSense and analytics in regions where consent is required. The calculator continues to work fully regardless of your cookie choice.
6. Data Sharing and Third-Party Redirection
We do not sell, trade, or distribute user information to external entities.
Our application includes structural outbound reference links pointing to official Philippine government web domains (such as bir.gov.ph or sss.gov.ph). Once you select an outbound hyperlink to leave SweldoSense, you become subject to the distinct data handling policies maintained by that external host platform.
7. Security Provisions
While no electronic data transmission protocol can guarantee absolute immunity from interception, we maintain secure Hypertext Transfer Protocol Secure (HTTPS) encryption layers across our network distribution layers. Because zero transactional financial or calculation inputs enter our hosting infrastructure, your payroll data is completely isolated from external server breaches.
